Description
Hello! My name is Gabi and I'm looking for a flatmate for a brand new 2-bed 2-bath new build flat in Walthamstow/Wood Street.
About the flat:
The flat is well-located, close to a number of supermarkets, coffee shops, bakeries, pubs and breweries, and independent shops of all kinds.
We're a 5-min walk to Wood Street Station on the Weaver line, and a 15-min walk to Walthamstow Central on the Weaver and Victoria lines.
The flat has an open plan kitchen/dining/living area that comes fully furnished, including all appliances such as full-sized fridge and freezer, electric cook top and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer drier.
There is also a spacious east-facing balcony, and plenty of natural light throughout the day.
There is plenty of storage throughout the flat, including two storage/amenity closets in the main hall and plenty of kitchen storage.
The flat is on the 4th floor with lift access and enclosed bike parking.
About the room:
The room is bright and spacious, easily fitting a double bed, desk, wardrobe, bookshelf, etc.
It comes partly furnished as I already had some things, but I can also have things removed if you already have your own furniture.
You will also have private use of the main bathroom with bathtub, which is just across the hall from your bedroom (I have my own en-suite so we won't need to share!).
About me:
I'm a 33-year-old secondary teacher who's lived in the area for the past few years. I'm originally from Brazil and have lived in a few countries teaching English abroad before settling down in London 7 years ago.
I work in person every day, so if you WFH you'll have the place for yourself during the day! In my free time I enjoy films and tv, cooking, travelling, and hanging out with friends. I'm really keen to start doing some gardening on the balcony sometime soon (hopefully before winter!).
I'm also hoping to adopt a cat at some point in the near future, so hopefully you like cats too!
What I'm looking for:
I'm looking to share with a professional woman in her 20s-30s, someone who's open to going out, grabbing a drink or watching a movie from time to time while also having our own private time.
The flat is brand new and I only just moved in a few weeks ago, so it's important that you're someone who cares about their space and helps maintain the place in a nice clean state.
