Description

Hello prospect roomate!

We are Polo, Hannah and Nina, a mix of European young professionals looking for a 4th roommate for our flat.

Coming from abroad, our household is our London family, so we are looking for someone who would really enjoy being part of our little family. This does not mean attending tedious functions, but thrifting, cooking, pubbing and chatting shit together :)

*drumroll* The HARD FACTS:
The vacant room is a medium size double bedroom, and it comes with a desk, a wardrobe, a set of drawers and a double bed. The flat has a living room and separate kitchen with two full bathrooms. Everything is in a good condition with furniture and appliances that are fairly new. The price is 960 per month without bills included. Bills (water, council tax, wifi and energy) come at around 80 pounds per month each.

Location-wise we are 5 minutes away from Vauxhall station and 10 mins walk from Kennington and Oval. There are plenty of amenities around, a large Tesco 1 minute away, and 20 minutes to touristy sights like the Big Ben. There are also gyms not too far (and two climbing walls quite close by if you are into bouldering). The neighbourhood has a really good atmosphere, with a mix of young people and families, farmer's market on Saturdays, nice pubs, Kennington and Vauxhall park a short walk away and lovely cafés!

We are three young professionals with very different backgrounds: engineering, marketing and neuroscience. We enjoy spending time together, either cooking dinner, being outdoors or just chatting about our daily anecdotes and we are hoping to find someone who is also looking for a social household. We also find important to have a nice balance between having fun and being responsible with the flat; we love hosting people around for drinks and going out together but also appreciate having a clean and tidy house.

In terms of admin stuff, the flat is managed by an agency (Reeds Rains Kennington) which so far have been very responsive and efficient solving any issues. Regarding the tenancy conditions, the first three months would be a sub let (agreed with the agency and the landlord) so you would need to sign a Permit to occupy, which would be equivalent to a tenancy contract for the first three months. After the 21st of September we would like to extend the contract for a year more, so if you want to stay longer, you would have the possibility to do so.

If you are interested or need more information please send us a message. Then we can arrange a viewing and have a chat to better know each other and hopefully live together eventually! :)
