I’ll be looking to reassign the lease on my room from mid-August (start dates flexible) until mid December. I've lived here for nearly 4 years, but am buying a place of my own so looking for someone to replace me until our lease ends.
LOCATION: It's c10 mins walk from Vauxhall and c3 mins from Nine Elms - i. e. <20 mins to get to Oxford Circus, Waterloo, etc. It's also a very walkable area and a 45 min walk into Soho. For more local amenities, we live right next to a huge Sainsbury's, and are also a ~20 min walk from the new shopping centre at Battersea Power Station.
MY FLAT: Fully-furnished 2 bed 2 bathroom flat (c820 sq ft) with living room / kitchen in a new build (with all appliances - including a TV, dryer, and dishwasher!). We're on the eighth floor so great views. We have a 24h concierge (so parcels never go missing), a 24h residents' gym, and a communal residents' garden. Additional benefit is that it's very quiet and insulated, and is the warmest London flat I've lived in by far.
ROOM: Double bedroom and exclusive use of the large main bathroom (shower / bath) as my flatmate has an ensuite. It has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, and has its own balcony. Rent is £1435 plus bills on top (but happy to negotiate for the right tenant) - bills come out to c£180-200pcm which includes hot water, Council Tax, internet, etc.
FLATMATE: Male, 32 years old, German professional. Given he wfh a lot, we would prioritise tenants who either commute in to their job / university / etc a few days a week!
