The flat has a large shared living room/dining room and kitchen. There is also quite a bit of storage space available and all the essential amenities: washing machine, shower, bath, microwave, vacuum cleaner.

The building has a nice communal garden and a lift. It is a 10 minute walk to Stockwell station (zone 2) and a 15 minute walk to Vauxhall station (zone 1). On top of this it has really useful bus links.

There is a 6 week deposit required of £665 and fees to the estate agent Ludlow Thompson. Bills are pretty reasonable at £50 a month.

I will be moving out of the room on the 30th July so it will be free after then. The housemate staying on is a friendly young professional. She works for a charity, is passionate about football and enjoys drinking a beer or two.
