We have a 2-bed, top floor, east and west facing flat with a room for rent in a leafy and quiet residential area with expansive views of the Canary Wharf skyline, the Thames and the Royal Victoria Dock. There's a large living room with large windows, a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine and a shared bathroom.

The flat is a mere 3 minutes' walk from West Silvertown DLR and a 10 minute walk around the water to Royal Victoria Dock DLR and Custom House DLR. The postcode is E16, zone 3 on the Underground. Canary Wharf can be reached in only 11 minutes, Bank in 18 and Waterloo in just under 20.

One of the two double bedrooms is available from 26 June to late August. Currently, my sister and I, a medic student and a teacher, live in, but are both working away during the Summer. The landlords are our parents, so expect a more friendly landlord-tenant relationship than usual!
