Large double room with its own private bathroom available to rent in a development with gym and daytime concierge and easy travel to Canary Wharf (15 min) and the city (25 min).

ABOUT ME
You would sharing the flat with myself. I’m 28, speak both English and Dutch and work as a consultant. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, and baking. I also have a more geeky side and enjoy reading, video games and board games. I am easy going and clean and it would be great to have someone similar who wants to make the flat their home and does their own thing but enjoys to socialise and have a wine/tea or cook together every now and then.

ABOUT THE ROOM
The room is a big double with lots of storage space. It comes with a double bed (with storage underneath), a huge IKEA closet with mirror door, a desk and two bedside tables. You will also have your own spacious bathroom with a bath.

ABOUT THE FLAT AND ITS LOCATION
The flat is based in a modern building and has an open plan living room as well as a big corridor with two storage cupboards. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob, a fridge-freezer, an oven and a microwave. There is a washer/dryer and the flat also has underfloor heating and double glazing. The building has a resident’s only gym and a daytime concierge who can take your parcels. The flat also has an allocated underground parking space which I occasionally use but this is up for discussion if you need parking.

The building is located a 2 minute walk from both Royal Victoria DLR station and Custom House station which will have Crossrail from 2018, travel time to Canary Wharf is about 15 minutes and London Bridge and Bank both about 25 minutes. The neighbourhood is safe, residential and very good to have a walk or a run, and the Barrier Park is a short walk away. Two supermarkets are located within a minutes’ walk (Tesco Express and Nisa local).

THE LANDLORDS
The landlords are a friendly couple who genuinely care about the condition of the flat. They have always been quick with repairs were needed and have never visited without us asking them to come over.

RENT AND BILLS
Rent for the room is £800pcm and excludes bills of which your share would be approximately £100 a month (council tax, electricity, water and internet). The deposit required is £1,000.
