Room in Victoria Park flatshare

A room in a shared flat, right next to the beautiful Victoria Park, in the Victoria Park village area.

It is 10-15mins walk to Bethnal Green tube & London Fields overground station. Within 5-10mins walk there is a major bus intersection on the corner of Victoria Park & Cambridge Heath Rd with many services into The City.

The room has a double bed & mattress with ample storage available through a large floor-to-ceiling wardrobe and a storage cupboard joined to the room that's accessible to just you.

The flat has a large living room, with a very comfortable sofa. The kitchen is well equipped with all the usual utensils.

There is 1 bathroom, with a shower/bath.

We don't have a garden, but the park is handily located a <1min walk away, with plenty of space to chill, sunday market, cafes etc.

Hi I am Andy, I am the current flatmate. I am not a party animal any longer, but I am really sociable and like a chat in the evening over dinner (I like to cook), and happily go for a drink, or a walk in the park.

I have always enjoyed flats where there is a kind and warm open atmosphere between flatmates, so we are able to both live together and communicate about what matters to us. I am at an age now where I do appreciate my own space some of the time, and respect others wish for the same.

I am probably out about two nights a week seeing friends or socialising. Though I don't do a lot of entertaining, I am open to you having people over from time to time.

I work from home a few days a week in the small office adjoining my room. It is probably ideal for you to work from home no more than a couple of days a week. Happy to discuss the way our schedules could work.

A really good cleaner comes regularly (fortnightly, £35 per clean between us), which relieves any stress of doing any heavy cleaning, I would like to continue this arrangement with the new flatmate.
