As our lovely tenants will sadly be moving out at the end of June, we will be renting out a self contained flat with its own entrance ( from the street )
in the top part of our victorian house. The whole flat is for your own private use.

We are a retired couple and live in the basement flat and also have our own entrance.

The house is in Penshurst Road, E9 7DT just a few houses away from ‘Well Street Common’ and ‘Victoria Park’.

The flat is very light and airy and consists of a spacious hallway,
A large open plan, double windowed kitchen/living room.
There is an electric cooker, a microwave,
a large fridge freezer and a dish washer.
A double bedroom with built in storage.
There is also an attic room currently being used as a second bedroom but probably better used as a work space
( please note that this room is only head hight in the middle )
A bathroom with a shower over bath, WC, sink, washing machine, airing cupboard and a full length mirror.

All the rooms are very light and airy with nice views.

The flat is furnished but we’re happy for you to make it more like your own home by changing soft furnishing, putting up pictures etc.

The house is on a cul-de-sac that ends on Well Street common and connects to Victoria park.
Victoria park is a lovely park with cafes, tennis courts, boating and fishing lakes and weekend food markets.
There is walking access directly from the park to canal walks, wetland areas, Hackney Wick, Stratford olympic village, Westfield shopping centre and Stratford International train station.

The flat is in a quiet, residential area but is also only a 2 min walk away from shops, restaurants, bars and bus routes.

The bus routes will take you to the City, Docklands, the West end and Stratford.
The nearest Tube stations are Mile End and Bethnal Green and the nearest overground stations are Homerton, Hackney Wick and Cambridge Heath.
There is on street parking at a small cost.
Bikes can be locked to the railings just outside.
