Double room between London Fields & Victoria Park

We've got a top floor double room available in our fantastic 4-storey Victorian terraced house in E9. Available from the end of April.

LOCATION - is amazing. We're on a quiet street less than 5 mins from both London Fields and Victoria Park, with Mare Street Market just around the corner. Bethnal Green tube is about 10 mins walk, and Hackney Central is about 15 mins.

HOUSE - huge and characterful, with wooden floors and a sunny south-facing garden. There's a massive kitchen/scullery/ laundry room and storage room downstairs - with plenty of space for everyone to cook together and host. We also have a living room, separate dining room , sunroom and guest bedroom / work from home space. There's 2 bathrooms, which works really well between the 4 of us, and an extra toilet. The house has great communal spaces, but is also plenty big enough to not all be on top of each other.

ROOM - Top floor, at the front of the house. Really well sized double, with good space for a desk. The room also has a wardrobe on the landing for extra storage. Top floor bathroom is lovely and light, and shared with 1 other housemate. The current pictures of the room are older ones, the landlord's just had it redecorated, so you'd be moving into a space with fresh walls and woodwork. Room comes unfurnished.

HOUSEMATES - Will be Aleks, Becky and Gene. Everyone gets along and we treat the space as our shared home. We enjoy a good chat in the kitchen, occasionally cook and watch films together, have our friends over for dinner and know about what's going on in all our lives. We sometimes host parties (love a good fancy dress occasion) but in general it’s a very chill vibe. Everyone works from home a few days a week and again, there's a good amount of space for this.

COSTS - rent is 1120 / month. Bills come to around 200 (250 in winter) this includes council tax (Band E), broadband and a fortnightly cleaner.

PRACTICALITIES - I'll be moving out end of April, but can be a bit flexible here.
