The living room is calm and bright, with large French doors, warm oak floors, a big bookshelf and a relaxed workspace. The kitchen is bold and characterful, painted in a deep navy blue with wooden worktops, a Belfast sink and plenty of charm. The dining area is warm and welcoming, with a large table, a statement tropical plant and a lovely red-framed window that brings in the outside. Throughout, the decor is thoughtful and eclectic, this is a proper home, not a generic rental.
Step outside and you are on the park. Less than a minute's walk brings you to Victoria Park Village, with its brilliant independent restaurants, relaxed pubs, and great coffee spots. From there, the canal towpath takes you on a scenic walk to Columbia Road Flower Market and Broadway Market, two of East London's most beloved weekend destinations.
The Pavilion café by the boating lake is perfect for coffee, brunch, or lunch on a sunny day. Columbia Road Flower Market on Sunday mornings is a must, best combined with lunch at Morito or the Marksman. Broadway Market on Saturdays is a lovely walk through the park and along the canal.
