Friendly, shared house in Victoria Park E9, one of the nicest parts of the East End. It’s in a green, quiet area for the inner city with parks front and back (good for joggers), but easily accessible to the City and Docklands and about 25 mins from the city centre by Tube, bus. or bike.

A Victorian terraced house with nice old features but useful modern stuff too like fast broadband, washing machine, two separate kitchens, central heating separate bathroom and shower etc so it’s very comfortable. The room is well maintained and redecorated with plenty of shelf and storage space, desk, John Lewis bed and bedding, wardrobe, new carpet. The house over looks Victoria Park and the rent includes all bills.

I'm the live-in landlord, a tv journalist last working at the BBC. Also here are Kamal, a research scholar at the London School of Tropical Hygiene; and Kat, she works at the National Theatre. More info about the location: It's a short walk to catch direct buses to the City, Docklands, and trendy Shoreditch. We are not far from both Mile End tube station for the Central, District, Hammersmith and City line services. Also Homerton station on the North London overground is a 10 mins walk away.

There’s controlled zone parking in the road outside. Bicycles welcome with indoor space to store. No smokers or pets please. We have a great back garden opening out on the park. Local Victoria Park Village one min away; amenities include bars, restaurants, shops, taxis, gym, yoga, lido, cool Broadway Market, Victoria Farmers' Market etc.

I'd like to find a responsible but sociable person, professional non-smoker. We’re not wild party people but are definitely friendly so do come and have a look if you’re interested.
