Description
Fully furnished double and single rooms are available from 1st September in our friendly, shared house in Victoria Park, Hackney E9.. This is one of the nicest parts of the East End, the house is located in a green, quiet area for the inner city with Victoria Park and Well Street Common front and back, but easily accessible to the City and Docklands and about 20 mins from the city centre by Tube, bus or bicycle.
A Victorian terraced house with nice old features but useful modern stuff also like fast fibre broadband, central heating, double glazing, washing machine, two separate kitchens etc so it’s really pretty comfortable. Rent includes town hall tax band F.
The rooms are well maintained with plenty of wardrobe space and shelving, desk, comfy beds and bedding, fast fibre broadband, tv.
I'm the live-in landlord, a retired broadcast journalist last working at the BBC. Also here is Mark, an Irish environmental lawyer working in the City. I'm looking for one person per room, don't mind if they're male or female, so long as they're responsible and with a positive outlook on life.
More info about the house: Controlled street parking outside. It's a short two minute walk to catch direct buses to the City or Docklands. We are a few minutes from Mile End Tube station for Central/District/Hammersmith and City Line services and trains from Homerton station on the North London Overground line. Bicycles welcome with indoor storage. No smokers or pets please. We have a very pretty little back garden opening out on the park. Local amenities include bars, restaurants, shops, taxis, gym, climbing wall, lido and Broadway Market. I'd like to find a responsible but sociable person, professional non-smoker.. We’re definitely not wild party people but quite friendly so come and have a look if you’re interested.
Thanks for looking,
John
