Lovely double room in Walthamstow close to tube

A lovely first floor double room with good storage, stripped floorboards and view of gardens in an Edwardian terrace house (1901). We’ve just fitted a new sash window so it is nice and cosy. Warm in winter, cool in summer located at the back of the house. The bathroom is just next door and shared with one other female lodger.

Our beautiful kitchen is a communal space, but we are informal and tend to do our own thing. We don’t tend to share meals together, but it’s always nice to have a chat. If you don’t want to be sociable we respect that too.

Walthamstow is a great place to live and we have been here for 24 years. There are lots of green spaces, cafes and restaurants and a trendy vibe. The transport links are excellent, with with short journeys into central London or Stratford and Liverpool Street on the Victoria Line, overground and by bus.

The house is quiet and relaxed and has a lovely garden you can eat in and chill out in. We have three outdoor cats who come in to say hello regularly. It is in a great location, in popular and safe area with lots to explore and 10 minutes walk from Walthamstow Central and a few minutes walk from a lovely park, Tesco Metro, local shops, gyms, pubs and restaurants.

We have been hosting lodgers for 6 years and our guests have found us friendly and responsive hosts. We are looking for a quiet, respectful female lodger who is clean and tidy to join our relaxed and happy household. I work at home two days a week and would prefer someone who doesn’t work at home or only works at home for two days.
