I (Anthony) have recently moved out out of my lovely apartment in Walthamstow 🥲. My wonderful housemate (Dudzai) and I are looking for a new person to move in and share the apartment with her.

🏡 Wonderful double room in peaceful top floor apartment. 12 minute walk to Blackhorse Road (Victoria Line, less than 15 mins to Oxford Circus). The room has lots of natural light and views of the City and a beautiful sunset most days. On a cul-de-sac with no through traffic.

🌳 Nearby area includes Lloyd Park (great weekend market!), Walthamstow Wetlands, Reservoirs, Lee Valley River, Beer Mile with several micro breweries and tap rooms, indoor climbing centre, yoga studios, carpentry & metalwork workshop, several local cafe's, and much more.

🧘‍♀️ The apartment vibe is one of peace and quiet; home is a place of rest where you can come and recharge your batteries. We keep things clean and tidy, but are also relaxed and want whoever moves in to also enjoy the space as their own.

📺 In addition to the basics you’d expect, the following are included: Secure bike storage, HD TV to share, washing machine + dishwasher.

🧾 Bills are charged in addition to rent at £180 p/ month (covers water, electric, gas, building maintenance, council tax, internet). These are reviewed on an annual basis in April.

🪑 The room comes with a bed and mattress, chest of drawers, a set of shelves and a built in wardrobe.

👋 The ideal housemate would be mature, considerate, clean and with a good sense of humour :)

💻 The new housemate would ideally work at their office / place of work, but can definitely work from home once or twice per week.

🧹 We currently have a cleaner who comes once per month who helps us stay on top of cleanliness. That costs approx £40 p/ month per person and is not included in the price.

🚗 An optional car parking space can be provided for the additional cost of £100 p/ month

📦 Move in date: We have some flexibility, the ideal move in date would be 29 May 2025, but can flex on this if needed.

📆 Viewing will be taking place in May 2025 on a rolling basis... please send a message with some weekday evening and weekend times you can do!

The process would be to meet Dudzai (flatmate) then a quick phonecall w/ Anthony. (Live our landlord). A written reference from your current landlord will be required.
