Modern en-suite double room for rent E17 (Dec+)

We're excited to find the right person to become our flatmate! You will have a fully furnished en-suite bedroom (4.5 x 2.8 m) in a sociable but very chill flat - come view the space as the photos don't do it justice!

The flat is 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, on the 2nd floor (with lift) of a modern block of flats in a great location. There are fab local amenities (e. g. independent shops, breweries, markets, gyms, post office, library, parks, etc) and excellent transport links - it is just 3 min walk from Wood Street (Overground), and 15 min walk from Walthamstow Central which takes you into central London in 25 minutes.

We are a friendly vegan couple (in our 30s) looking for someone with similar values to us. We both work in health and social care, love being outside, travelling, nature, rock climbing, animals, TV, good food, and theatre. We are not massive party people (though I enjoy a glass of wine on the sofa!) and enjoy a good balance of people-ing vs down time to relax in our old age!

This is an ideal property for a vegetarian/vegan flat mate (or someone willing to keep veggie in the household), and non-smokers only please. Women and non-binary folk only please. No couples but partner(s) would be welcome whenever (within reason!).

The room has a good amount of storage, and includes a double bed, built-in wardrobe, wide chest of drawers, desk & chair, and 30 cm under-bed storage space. The room also has its own thermostat, windows that open fully and USB charging portals. The full length windows maximise brightness and internal temperature regulation. Blackout blinds will give you a restful nights sleep!

You will have access to your own storage space in the kitchen; including your own cupboards, space in the fridge and freezer etc. We also have a dish washer and washer/dryer. The flat is kept clean and tidy, and has high security with fob access and a smart doorbell system, as well as a shared locked recycling/bin facility and a separate locked communal cycle store - both with fob access. We have a balcony, as well as a cute communal garden area and there a lots of other green spaces nearby (Epping Forest is very close!).
