Walthamstow Veggie House

Hello, our housemate is moving abroad in August & we are looking for someone lovely to take her room.

House: Beautiful large open plan living room and kitchen, lots of plants and plenty of kitchen storage space. Sweet little garden with hammocks and a dart board. Nice new bathroom with bath + shower :)

Bedroom is double room, on the smaller size & comes furnished with a pax wardrobe unit with drawers, a clothing rail & a comfy double bed with plenty of storage space underneath. It also overlooks the garden 🪴

Area: Great location, 10 mins from St James Street Overground Station and Crate and all that has to offer... zero waste shop, vegan bakery, drag karaoke etc. 15 Mins walk from Walthamstow Central (Vicky line), 5 mins from St James Park and playing field and gorgeous jogging/walking route to the wetlands and the marshes if that's your bag. Gym and little Asda at the end of the road. Walthamstow is such a great area for shops, pubs, community stuff, never short of things going on.

Housemates: Justine works in Market Insight, enjoys swimming, travelling, occasional fabulous vegan baking and exploring the local breweries. Me (Lucia) I work in the VAWG sector, do animal rescue stuff and have a fairly good balance of healthy and unhealthy vices.

Two beautiful rescue dogs also call this their home - it is very important that our new housemate is dog friendly & patient as one of the dogs is nervous.

We enjoy occasionally socialising as a house, going out for dinner or catching up over wine in the kitchen but also have our own things going on and enjoy our own space.

You: We're both vegan and would like to keep the house meat free so looking for a veggie/vegan (or happy to be so in the house). Relaxed about genders/LGBTQ+ etc, just looking for someone who'll be a good fit so if this sounds like you then get in touch.

Rent is inclusive of water, council taxi & broadband. The only additional is energy which depends on monthly usage (usually around £25/30).
