Sadly we are leaving our lovely little home at the end of September, so we’re looking for 2 or 3 people to rent this lovely semi-detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac. It’s a 2 bedroom house with a large living room, conservatory and a smaller room that we use as an office - however we’re currently using the living room as an extra bedroom and the conservatory as a living space.
All rooms are a really good size, plenty of room for a double bed, wardrobe and desk. Comes unfurnished, but might be up for leaving a few bits. We’ve adored the garden, it has some lovely rose bushes and we’ve had some lovely get togethers in the warm weather. We’re happy to leave the sun loungers. Kitchen is a lovely size and has a little breakfast bar with stools.
Currently, we’ve split the rent so that the larger room (old living room) and an upstairs room + office are the same, slightly higher rent, and the other upstairs bedroom is less. But it’s up to you how you split it.
It’s rented through an agency but the landlord is pretty decent. Please note that to pass referencing, the combined household annual income needs to be at least £75k.
Walthamstow is a wonderful area of London, with loads of independent shops and cafes (we're really close to Jaunty, Blackhorse Workshop Cafe and Beaten By A Whisker is a little further down towards St James St Station). The bus stop for the W15 bus is a minute walk away. The town centre is about a 15-20 minute walk away. And of course the Victoria line at Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Central means easy and quick access to central London.
