Description
We are 2 housemates looking for 1 new person to take our spare room.
This is a top floor Warner listed maisonette based in Walthamstow, east London. It is situated right next to beautiful Lloyd Park and based 17 minutes walk from Walthamstow Central Station (Victoria line & London Overground line).
The property consists of three double bedrooms, one shared bathroom, kitchen (with washing machine & built in dryer) and a split garden which we share with our downstairs neighbours.
Bills & Rent...
The room is £650 pm, not including bills (around £110), which are split equally.
Bit about us...
Hayley 33, working as a trainee clinical psychologist (NHS doctorate - hella tired a lot). Like reading, Muay Thai, festivals and Prosecco is far better than beer.
Jac is a 33 yo from Wales working in the music industry. Loves music, football and beers in the sun.
About the bedroom...
This is a double bedroom located next to the living room, which includes a built in wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a bedside cabinet & double bed. Due to the room being situated as you come up the main stairs & by the loft room's stairs, and the flat all being on one floor, a new tenant would need to be okay with a bit of general noise from time to time, although we try to be conscious of not disturbing each other when unwinding in the evenings.
Ideal housemate...
We are looking for a housemate who will be respectful, help keep the place clean & tidy, and who can feel comfortable catching up/ hanging out, but also want to do their own thing the majority of the time. This house is not a party house setting so would be best suited to someone who is looking for somewhere to relax after a long day and call their home.
You would ideally also only need to wfh a few days a week, since we’re not looking for someone who is completely remote.
