Description
Cosy double room in a lovely house in a fab location in Walthamstow village.
Available from 27th November.
We will do viewings from the 5th November.
__
Sadly, our very dear Charlotte is leaving us and we are looking for a new housemate.
The room is on the upper floor (garden side) and comes with a bed (and chest of drawers).
We have a lovely garden which you can relax in and host bbqs and meals, as well as a shared living space, kitchen, bathroom, a small spare room/study that you could possibly use if you need to work from home depending of the days (to be discussed).
We are looking for a housemate who
- wants to make the house a home,
- is respectful
- is up for a chat and up to share a meal every now and then
- is happy to clean after themselves and to be part of a cleaning rota.
You would be sharing with myself and Tamara. We are both in our 30’s.
Tamara works in architecture in Southwark.
I work in a circus school in Old street (in the office and as a circus teacher).
We enjoy dancing, cycling, exploring new places, cooking, the outdoors and sharing dinners.
Council tax band C bills come to approximately 120-160 a month (includes council tax, water, gas and electricity, internet, TV licence, loo rolls).
We sometimes order together an Organiclea veggie bag :-)
We don't have pets but often have a very cute neighbour cat visiting and foxes in the garden.
We also have the best neighbour, Nick!
Please tell us a bit about yourself when you message.
A bit more about Tamara
Tamara is 35 and has been living in London for the past 6 years and enjoys meeting new people.
She is part of a dance group doing afrobeats and love a lido swim (in summer - unless its London Fields).
She works from home 3 days a week.
She moved countries growing up and also speak fluent French and German.
A bit more about me
I am 38 (although I look incredibly young) and have been living in London for over 10 years.
I am into performing arts, comedy, wellbeing, sustainability, cooking, cycling, nature.
I am a clean, tidy, easy-going, sociable (I love a chat at home) as well as independent housemate.
My+:
- I can teach you how to juggle 3 balls and to spin a plate
- I come with a sewing machine and raclette equipment
- I am a qualified massage therapist
- I have some expertise in lemon tarts and lasagna
