Description
I’m looking for a lodger on a short term basis (up to 3 months) to share my home with me and my cat!
About the space:
I have a double room to let in the Lea Bridge area of Walthamstow for up to three months. The room comes furnished with a double bed, bedside cabinet, desk and lots of storage. You will share a bathroom with me and of course have use of the kitchen and living space. There is a communal garden which is shared with two other flats. This is a very quiet block so if you’re a light sleeper like me it’s perfect. I know my neighbours in the block and we all get on well.
There is space for a bike in a locked shed. There are great public transport links with lots of buses 2 minutes from the flat (going to Stratford, Walthamstow, Hackney, Islington, Oxford Street, St Pauls and more). The Victoria line tube is a 25 minute walk away (Walthamstow Central) or under 10 minute bus (Blackhorse Road Station via 158 bus), Central line from Leyton is a 30 minute walk away or 10 minute bus. Lea Bridge main line station is a 15/20 minute walk away (or 5 minute bus).
A big Aldi, gym, pubs, cafes and restaurants are all within a 5 minute walk. The flat is close to Hackney Marshes which is lovely to walk/run/cycle if you like the outdoors too.
About me:
This is my home so it is important to me that we have similar expectations for living together and get along well. I am happy to work around the availability for right person to share my home with 😊.
I am a 28yr old female who works in academia. I work from home 2/3 days a week. I am a clean, quiet and considerate housemate. I am very social a lot of time and so my home is quiet space to relax. I will usually see friends outside of the flat. I enjoy cooking and baking, gym, cycling, pub quizzes, comedy nights and museums/galleries etc. I am not a big party person but like a pint or glass of wine down the pub. It would be great to have a flat mate who would like to spend an evening together having dinner, watching a series or going for a drink now and again but equally likes their own space. I’m vegetarian but don’t mind if you’re not- It’s just a bonus if you are 😉.
I also have a very cheeky cat who gets up to all sorts of mischief so you must be happy to live with him and respectful of having a pet in the space too.
Any questions please let me know!
