Description

I’m looking for a new housemate as my friend is moving out in the summer. We have lived here for three years and really love it!

The flat is split over the top two levels of a Victorian terrace, with the bedrooms on different floors, meaning extra privacy for both of us. There’s a big living room/dining room, a modern kitchen and bathroom. It’s super homey – I have a bit of an addiction to homewares and books and am very house proud.

I’d really like to live with someone tidy and respectful, who has their own things going on but also wants to catch up over dinner sometimes. It’s really important to me that we both feel super comfortable at home and make sure it’s a lovely place for us to live!

No garden sadly, but Walthamstow’s great for outdoor space :)

The room is a good size double on the lower floor, not huge, but has enough space to do yoga/pilates in! It comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. (I’ll be moving upstairs when my flatmate leaves, but this is currently my room and I love it.)

Location:
The flat is on the edge of Walthamstow Village and the border with Leyton. We’re a 15 minute walk to Walthamstow Central (or 4 min bus), and a couple of minutes from a huge Tesco. Also right off Hoe Street for buses into Hackney, Leytonstone, central London etc, but on a quiet residential road so none of the noise.

About me:
I’m an arts journalist, and spend a lot of time seeing shows, writing, and out and about making the most of London. I’m super independent and am looking for a flatmate who’s similar, but would also love to be able to eat dinner together and watch telly when we’re both around!

I’ve lived in this flat for three years and in Walthamstow for about 6 years. I’m tidy, clean and love being at home. It’s really important for me to live with someone who’s considerate of the other person.

I love hosting, whether the occasional dinner party or just having friends over to chill, but I’m more about the flat being a bit of a haven away from London chaos!

Move in date would be in mid-late July!
