Description
Amazing opportunity to live in a superb 3 story, terrace with garden and just one other person. You'll have your entire own floor with loft style bedroom, office/2nd room, ensuite bathroom plus lovely shared sunny living room, dining room, kitchen and seperate utilities room. So much space and a brilliant quiet neighbourhood, a stones throw from all Walthamstow has to offer.
Hi. I'm Jacqui. You'd be sharing with just me and my gorgeous staffie (dog), Zanda. I have my bedroom and office/arts room on the first floor.
Your Space:
Top floor features 2 rooms and an ensuite. A gorgeous attic style bedroom that is super light and airy overlooking the church opposite. It has built in wardrobes, lots of storage and a lovely ensuite PLUS your own second room for use as an office, art, music room or however you desire. Couples more than welcome too though costs to be discussed. I'm even flexible to switch floors if that works better. You really have to see the place!
About me:
I currently work from home in creative services but will be back in the office 3 days soon. I'm a super friendly 40 (something) and would definitely prefer people up for a chat or the odd shared meal/drink but the house is most definitely big enough to do your own thing whenever desired. I absolutely love music and am out a fair bit but the massive all nighters are now in the past. Do like to have friends over for dinner/drinks occasionally but with three floors and the lounge + dining separate there is plenty of privacy if you're wanting to chill - or even join. Would love someone that likes to entertain too, a love of music, art or any shared interest obvs a bonus.
Dog lovers a must - as anyone that knows Staffies know they LOVE attention. Zanda is 10 but still full of energy and brings endless entertainment I assure you. But you can keep her out of your floor if you desire. She is extremely clean and I keep the house clean and tidy always. Totally believe that a home should be a haven and I'm super respectful of anyone I live with :).
The Area:
Certainly lots to do locally. Local pub is now the European and the Village is only a 15min walk with lots of options for food, drinks, shopping. Blackhorse road one stop away with all it's cool options or the wonderful walk through the wetlands and down the canal. Sooo many options of things to do.
Transport wise you have Walthamstow central 15min walk, Queens Road 12min walk and all the buses of Hoe street 5 mins away. It's a great location. The house is on a no through road too so you literally have NO traffic passing and parking out the front if needed. Just the church bells opposite ringing on a sunday :).
Timing:
Ideally looking for someone mid/endJune as that is when the lease is up but my current flatmate/friend might be flexible on timings. She's been here 3 years and loves it but needs to unfortunately move on.
Would love to get anyone interested around asap really. You really do have to see the place to really appreciate it. Photos don't do it justice. It's a great house with heaps of space. I'll work on a bit of a walkthrough video this weekend.
Bills:
I've included Internet, TV, Netflix + Prime.
Additions each below:
Council tax band C - £107
Gas & electricity - approx.£80 (but obvs always changing with the caps).
Please note : One person is be added to the lease ( to replace Hanna as I rent myself) so Reference check will be required for one person.
Shoot me a message with a little about you and I'd love to get you around asap to meet and see it for yourself.
Oh.. also, the rooms will be unfurnished and a few other pieces are Hanna's so if you have things you want to bring can certainly accommodate. Definitely want this to be your home too! :).
