Description
Hi, I’m Anna 👋 I’m renting a bright, airy, wfh-friendly fully furnished double room in my two-bed, one-bath flat. The flat is opposite the entrance of beautiful Lloyd Park and is available for a max of 5 months from 1st Feb 2026 as I will sadly then be saying goodbye to this lovely flat 😢
The room has a desk and ample space for working from home (see picture 2 for wfh set up and picture 3 for set up without a desk - whichever is your preference!). There is also wfh space in the kitchen. The flat is a twenty-minute walk from Walthamstow Central, which is on the Victoria Line and the Weaver Line, and a twenty-minute walk from Blackhorse Road, which is on the Suffragette Line and the Victoria Line. From Walthamstow Central you can be at Liverpool Street in 18 minutes or King’s Cross in 14 minutes.
I’m 27, female, a non-smoker, and work in professional services in central London. I tend to be in the office 3-4 days a week and am an expert in the local pastry scene. The room would suit a clean, non-smoker in their mid-20s to early-30s who is working full time. Bonus if you like good coffee as I have a Sage barista machine which you are welcome to use. I share the private garden with our upstairs neighbours and have a built in BBQ where I occasionally host in the summer. The flat has a chilled-out vibe but there’s lots of nice pubs and late-night venues nearby so it would be nice to hang out sometimes and go for a drink and dance too!
About the area: Walthamstow has been named by The Times as the best place to live in London in 2025. In Lloyd Park you have the William Morris Gallery, Deeney’s Café and a lovely Saturday food market. Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda and Lidl are all within walking distance of the flat, and for essentials there’s a Co-op and a very well stocked Londi’s less than five minutes away. Waltham Forest’s biggest leisure centre, the Feel Good Centre, is an eight-minute walk away and has a gym, a pool, a spinning studio and an athletics track. Walthamstow is very well-equipped with an independent cinema, a shopping centre and a decent mix of nice independent restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops (Beaten By a Whisker, Wood Street Bakery, Perky Blenders, Slow Burn etc.) and the old familiar classics (Nando’s, Five Guys etc.). I love living here and I’m sure you will too.
The rent for the room is £860 per month plus bills, which average across the year at approx £180 per month. This includes council tax (Band B), energy, water, broadband, TV licence.
Please drop me a message with a few details about yourself and why you think you’d be a good fit! No couples.
