Short Term Let - great house in Walthamstow

We have a room in our 2 bed house in Walthamstow. It’s a beautiful old house with original doors and floors. Living room and dining space, big newly renovated bathroom, large back garden. It is available for a strict 3 month term from 1st Jan - 1st April 2026 while the current tenant (me!) is away. Please note, this is NOT a sublet - you would have your own name on the 3 month lease along with the current housemate staying on, full references and vetting from our landlord is required. There is on street parking available but you would need to apply for a permit from the council. Council tax, water bills and window cleaning service is included in the rental fee. Virgin internet, TV license and electricity is additional - comes to around £65 a month additional cost.

The room is great. It is fully furnished - king bed, wardrobe, desk, drawers, armchair, mirror, bedside table, ornamental (non working) fireplace. Very spacious with 2 street facing windows.

House is in a great location - Co-Op supermarket 1 minute walk at the top of the road, Blackhorse Lane beer mile breweries 5 minutes the other way. A number of café’s, bars and restaurants within walking distance and in Walthamstow Central, Lloyd Park and William Morris Gallery, Walthamstow Wetlands for walks. It’s a 20 minute tube link into Central London, busses to Walthamstow Central and our nearest tube - Blackhorse Road (about a 15 minute walk away)

You would be living with Liz (43) who is a teacher and a wonderful housemate - respectful, tidy and very easy to live with.
