Description
This is an LGBTQ+ house.
As well as a private bedroom (3.3m x 2.86m), this listing also includes the living room as a private space (2.8m x 2.9m / 2m due to L shape of room. Ideal as an office for someone working from home, or a hobbyist who needs space to hobby. This is included in the listed monthly rent of £900.
Bills aren't included and currently come to £165 each. All rooms come unfurnished (sofa can stay if wanted).
There is a shared bathroom that includes a bath with fixed to the wall shower. The kitchen includes a dining table and the usual amenities, including fridge freezer, washing machine, oven and gas hob.
The garden is what attracted me to the flat initially. It's large, peaceful and has plenty of space to utilise. I have built some raised beds and have lots of pots. There's space to grow, hang out on the hammock with some friends over on a sunny afternoon, or do some exercise.
The flat is well located, with overground, underground and bus stops within (2-20 mins walk). Get to Liverpool Street, Stratford and the Victoria line easily.
I work in Walthamstow and feel connected to the community here. I don't have a 9-5 job and can spend a few nights of the week working late and away from home. I'm looking for someone new to join me after my current housemate of four years, is moving on.
I'm open minded as to who my next housemate could be but good communication is very important. I am 43 and whilst I do welcome and enjoy friends and guests and socialising at home, I do like to have a mostly calm and peaceful home. I am often working from home or resting in the daytime.
I'm hoping my next flatmate will enjoy the flat as much as I do and want to create a home here. Even if that is just for the next 12 months (minimum).
