Room available in Queer POC 2-bed flat

Hi everyone,

My flatmate is moving to South London and I’m looking for a new flatmate for her room (unfurnished) from 18th August. There’s also the possibility of sublet from 20th July (furnished), subject to a pro-rata rent adjustment.

The available room is a double bedroom. It gets great morning sunlight and is big enough for a WFH set up.

The flat has a well-equipped kitchen and shared living room with really nice afternoon light as well, located on the second floor (2 flights of stair, no lift!). I’m super open to redecorate the living room to make it more cozy so we can both feel at home and enjoy to spending time in there.

🏠 Available: 18th August (can be earlier)

🧾 Bills and council tax: approx. £155/month

🔑 Tenancy: the 2026 Renter’s Act is in effect, 2-months notice period

📍The flat is very well located:

• 3 minutes walk to wood street with plenty of cafes, cute shops and Wood Street indoor market

• 4 minutes walk to Wood Street station

• 10min from Walthamstow Village

• 15 minutes from Walthamstow Central

A bit about me:

I’m 31 and work as an analyst, mostly from home. I’m clean and considerate, and enjoy going to the gym, sports classes, and cycling. I love cooking a hearty meal and sharing a glass of wine during the week, and it would be lovely to occasionally sit down and enjoy dinner with my flatmate.

I’m looking for a queer-friendly flatmate around my age (26-36 ish), someone who is calm, friendly, and sociable, and who’d like to help keep the flat feeling warm, clean, relaxed, and welcoming.

As this is a shared home, I’m ideally looking for a woman or feminine-presenting flatmate who’d be a good fit for the space and dynamic.
