Description
Hello
We have a spare large double bedroom to rent in a fantastic, newly refurbished two bed flat in Walthamstow Village. Occupying the first and second floors the flat comes with wooden floors throughout, upvc windows, gas central heating and cooker, plus all the usual white goods.
We are on the 1st floor flat which also has private access to our own private garden. The room available is a large double (11' x 13') and the picture does not do it justice. It has lots of light as the room is south facing and overlooking the garden. It's unfurnished although the rest of the flat is fully furnished but with the space to add your own touches to.
The bathroom has a bath with three different shower options, the best of which is a big square rose head that pumps out lots of water. Always a big concern to anyone who has been forced to endure a weak shower. The lounge has two big sash windows so loads of light in there.
The garden has apple trees in it, a grass area, paving, various plants, table and chairs and a new BBQ in it. There is plenty of sunlight and shade so whatever takes your fancy.
As for myself, I like reading, pottering, drinking good beer, making things, dreaming. My girlfriend Julie try's to bake and likes gardening and teaching five year olds. We've lived in London for many years and are sociable people. Lived in lots of shared houses - both together and separately - and are fully aware of what it takes to cohabit. We've been together for 3 years so are well past the embarrassing stage. We watch films, cycle, fight, play board games, cook or BBQ with friends. Guilty pleasures would include Julie's terrible taste in films and Michael Portillo's great railway journeys, mine is a ps4. We also listen to 6 music a lot and radio 4.
We are 36 and 31yo and while we like to party when we can, we don't do it here. We've lived in party houses in the past and whilst they were fun at the time, we are getting old and like our neighbours too much.
Finally for all you cat lovers out there, we have two adorable one year old cats. They're fully house trained, cut and splayed and very relaxing creatures. They do go outside, but are equally happy curled up with a plate of milk and a good box set.
Jake
Ps: smokers are more than welcome but have to smoke in the garden.
Pps: room for bikes in the garden.
