My husband and I are looking for a new tenant for one of our spare rooms from Monday to Friday only. We live in a 3 bedroom Victorian terrace house located just a 4 minute walk from St James Street station where there are regular trains to Liverpool Street that reach in 20 minutes. Blackhorse road tube (on the Victoria line) is about 5 minutes by bus or 15 minutes on foot. This means you can be at Oxford street in a half an hour. We are also well located to reach Stansted airport with direct trains from Tottenham Hale taking 30-40 minutes. There are also easy cycle routes into the city and we have space to keep another bike should you need to.

This room would suit someone looking for a mid week home away from home.. We have a three bedroom house and the extra spare room is not going to be rented out so can be used for laundry etc.

We are both teachers. (I teach art and my husband teaches maths) and are pretty laid back with various interests including food, art, theatre and sport.

The room itself is bright with a view of the garden, very large fitted wardrobes and a comfortable bed with a new mattress.

We have a cleaner who comes a once a week and our kitchen is well kitted out. We also have a lovely garden which we often use for barbecues in the summer months.

We have excellent amenities close by with a great coffee shop at the end of the road and a decent Tesco for all your general goods. Walthamstow is also full of good pubs, restaurants and cafes to explore. We are also lucky to have a lovely park at the bottom of our street and the Walthamstow marshes and Walthamstow Wetlands are only a few minutes away if nature is your thing.

A permit is also available upon application for on street vehicle parking for a small additional cost.
