Hi! I’m looking for a friendly, easy-going person to rent a double room in my peaceful Walthamstow home for a short-term let (anytime now until the end of October). It’s a calm and welcoming space – ideal if you’re looking for somewhere relaxed and comfortable to come home to after a busy day.

🛏️ The Room:

Bright and comfy double room (the bed pulls out to a king size)
Storage drawers under the bed for your essentials
Please note: there isn’t loads of storage, so it’s best suited to someone travelling light – perfect for a short-term stay
£800/month including bills
Plus £20/week for a cleaner (shared cost)

🏡 The House:

A simple, clean, and tastefully decorated terraced house with a lovely garden and cosy shared living space.

The house has just been redecorated, so while everything is clean and fully functional, some of the decorative touches – like artwork and plants and rugs– are still at my parents' and will be coming back over the next couple of months
The rent has been reduced slightly to reflect that it’s a little more minimal than usual right now.

Great location between Walthamstow Village and Hoe Street – just a short walk to Walthamstow Station, the new Soho Theatre, William Morris Gallery, and loads of great local pubs, cafés and shops

👋 A Bit About Me:

I’m a designer/artist/educator and work from home a few days a week. I love being creative, spending time in the local area, and catching up with friends. I’m friendly and enjoy a chat, but I also really appreciate a calm and respectful home.

🌿 Who This Would Suit:

Someone who works outside the house during the week
Looking for a short-term base in London – great if you’re in town for work, in between homes, or just here for the summer
Single occupancy only – not suitable for couples
It’s not a party house, but the odd friend popping over is absolutely fine – I just ask for no overnight guests
