I live in Walthamstow and have a spare room to rent to a friendly face! 😊

You – looking for someone friendly and genuine. A housemate who is happy to chat (/laugh/cry?!?) about our days in the kitchen and maybe grab dinner together now and then. But open to more if we have shared interests! Obviously keen on someone who is communicative and keeps the house nice to live in. (no smoking, no couples, and no pets, sorry!) (yes queer friendly, yay!) (female and veggies preferred)

Me – vegetarian, cycle to get round town, sing in a choir, enjoy a night out dancing or a night in with boardgames, try to run at weekends and like bouldering. Do some climate justice activism and work in renewable energy, wfh 4 days a week. (female, mid-30s, from London but half American, if that’s relevant!)

The room – really good size (11m2), can fit a desk, your own bathroom is adjacent, morning sun through big east facing window, looks out into green garden with trees, furnished.

The house – top 2 floors of beautiful Victorian terrace, 2 bed 2 bath, my room is the loft extension, biiiiig living room with afternoon sun through big windows, decent size kitchen with garden view, bike lockers on street. 2 min walk from Walthamstow Central (Victoria/Overground) and Hoe Street shops, but still on quiet residential road and 10mins from Lloyd park. Aka Living The Walthamstow Dream!

Price & Date – rent is £945/month plus all bills £212/month (including a cleaner). Move in from 12 October.
