5-10 minutes walk away
Description
After three years renting together my old housemate is moving out to go travelling so I’m looking for someone to fill her room in our 2 bedroom flat in Walthamstow.
It’s a furnished room with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe on a quiet residential street. We’re less than a five minute walk from Walthamstow Queens Road (Suffragette line) and. a 5-10 minute walk (I do it in 5 because I’m always running late for the train…) from Walthamstow Central (Victoria and Weaver lines). There’s also a big Sainsbury’s/Asda/Lidl less than ten minutes away on the high street, and green space at St James Park and the wetlands isn’t far away either. Basically, everything you could possibly need is in easy walking access!
As for me, I’m 28 and work in the City in comms. I like to think I’m pretty relaxed and easygoing - veggie but no problems if you’re not. Happy to chill/chat in the evenings but also not a stranger to getting home after a busy day and just needing to be horizontal ASAP! Am a keenish (albeit currently lapsed) runner and swimmer, have also been known to do a VERY good roast and frequent our local pub quiz!
Rent is currently £837.50 a month plus bills, and we’re in council tax band B. Our current contract puts us on a one month notice period but ideally looking for someone interested in moving in for longer than that! If you’re interested in viewing or have any questions just drop me a message!
