I'm listing this lovely double room as my flatmate is moving out in July. The room is a good size and very quiet, as it faces the back of the building.
The flat has lots of built-in storage (including a cupboard just opposite the room and additional storage in the eaves) and feels very private, as each bedroom is on a different floor. It’s in a great location - just a few minutes from Walthamstow Central, with easy access to the shops, cafés and pubs around Walthamstow Market.
A bit about me: I work in sustainability as a Buying Coordinator and have lived in this part of London for many years. I’m usually in the office two days a week and away one or two weekends a month. I’m looking for someone easy-going, considerate and tidy who will enjoy the flat and make themselves at home.
The room comes unfurnished, so you would need to bring a bed and any other furniture you’d like for the room.
The kitchen/living area will also be partly unfurnished, as the current flatmate will be taking most of the furniture and some appliances with them. I’ll be replacing the main essentials (table, seating, kettle, toaster, cutlery, etc.), but if you have furniture or kitchen items you’d like to bring and share, there’s plenty of space.
Bills are not included and currently come to around £180 per month in total, including water, electricity, gas, council tax and broadband (though this can vary slightly seasonally).

Two things to note:
There will be a £50 change of sharer fee (this is a standard thing and is one-off).
The landlord may decide to review the rent, as it hasn’t increased for some time, and the deposit may increase to 5 weeks’ rent. The estate agent will confirm all details during the referencing process.
