Lovely bright double room in a Victorian house in central Walthamstow available for a professional MONDAY to FRIDAY renter from 14th September 2026.

Perfect for a professional who wants a peaceful, relaxing place to stay on weeknights when working in London.

The house is 8-10 minute walk to Walthamstow Central Station in Zone 3, with fast, frequent trains to all central destinations via the Victoria line tube and Weaver line overground to Liverpool Street.

The room is on the first floor, next to a large bathroom with spacious shower. It has a small double bed, good-sized desk and chair, and a small wardrobe. Lodgers are welcome to leave some things in the bedroom and bathroom over the weekend for convenience.

Towels, bed linen, cleaning and bills (fibre broadband) all included plus use of the kitchen, dining area and garden (not living room) if needed, alongside the private room to relax/work in without disturbance.

The monthly rent is as follows:

4 nights a week - £575
3 nights a week - £475
2 nights a week - £400

I usually prefer lodgers needing 2 or 3 nights a week between Monday and Thursday nights. But also consider people needing 4 nights and Sunday nights.

The other current lodger is in his 40s, has been here for over 18 months. The lodger leaving this room has been here for over a year.

I've had about 20 part-time lodgers in the past 14 years, and try to keep all arrangements clear, easy and no hassle as far as possible.
