Large double room in Clapham Junction

Are you looking for a large double room in South West London?

I’m moving overseas so looking for a lovely human to take over my room from 22 December with opportunity to renew lease in May 2025! Also you’ll gain the world’s loveliest flatmatesâ%9D£️ two Scottish gals in their late twenties, love their running and also love a good yap 🌟

The flat is located super close to Wandsworth common, which is a really safe area. We live in a super cute 3 bedroom flat with a shared garden and a lovely big park 2 minutes away. It is a 10 minute walk from Clapham junction station which has overground links to almost everywhere, with Victoria and Waterloo being just a short 8 minutes ride away. 10 minutes walk to the absolutely delightful Northcote road which has lots of cute shops and cafes. There’s a Sainsbury’s local 5 minutes away, and 15 minutes walk if you want a big Asda, or waitrose or M&S.

THE ROOM: It’s large furnished room with a double bed and a built in wardrobe, with plenty of extra storage space throughout the house. Also has a bedside table and a large mirror. We are very fortunate lots of storage in this flat which is definitely rare for London.

The rent will be £950 + bills which come to around £150 a month but does go down in summer, we just like to be toasty in winter after too many years of freezing in student flats when we were younger.

Our kitchen was renovated about 1 year ago so we have lovely new appliances including double fridge/freezer and walk in pantry, so lots of space.

The upstairs bathroom has a toilet, bath with shower in it, sink, but we also have a downstairs toilet which is great for when we have guests.

We are ideally looking from someone between 25 and 30ish. We are looking for someone who is a similar vibe to us, we are both 26 years old and have been friends for a long time.

Ailsa (26) is an occupational therapist, is currently in her running era, also likes reading, and co hosting brunch at the flat, and exploring London.

Katie and Ailsa are both super easy going, love have a movie night, and a chit chat or cheeky pub quiz, but both very independent!

YOU: We are looking for someone who’s chill, tidy, and keen to be a part of our little flat family. We are totally understanding of busy lives (as we both have them) and respecting space during the week, but also definitely there if you’ve had a rough day at work and you need to vent!
