I’m moving abroad for an exciting new job, which sadly means saying goodbye to my lovely home and amazing housemate.

We’re offering a furnished double room in a charming two-up, two-down house located in a peaceful close in Wandsworth—just a short walk to Southside Shopping Centre, gyms, pubs, bars, and a large Sainsbury’s for all your essentials. The community here is incredibly friendly, with regular neighbourly get-togethers that make the place feel like home.

The room includes a double bed, chest of drawers, bookshelf and a large built-in storage cupboard. There’s also space for a desk—perfect for working from home. The house itself features a spacious lounge, separate kitchen, sunny garden, and one shared bathroom. Plus, there’s an allocated parking space for anyone with a car. Bills are roughly between £100-£150 a month.

Storage is a big plus here, with plenty of cupboard and hiding spots for all your things.

You’ll be living with James, my housemate of 3 years—a great guy. He’s not only a fantastic cook and easy to live with, but also someone who genuinely enjoys the little things: keeping the garden beautiful, firing up the BBQ in summer, and sharing a laugh over a house dinner, a film, or a pint at the pub. He works from home 4 days a week, and the broadband is fast and reliable.

I honestly wouldn’t be moving if it weren’t for this new opportunity abroad. It’s a great room in a great home, and we’re hoping to find someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I have.
