Our current flatmate is moving out and we are looking for someone to replace her in our cute three-bedroom maisonette flat, just seconds away from Wandsworth Town Station.
The room is a good size, and you get plenty of light. It comes with a double bed (included) and large IKEA chest of drawers and wardrobe for an additional £70.
Rent is £700 per month and bills are £100 per month. Bills include utilities, electricity, water, gas, internet and tv licence. FYI rent includes council tax. There is a small chance this will increase a little bit, the landlord mentioned she would review our rent in April 2025.
Deposit is £717.
Our landlord has requested that the new tenant is in a permanent job with a regular monthly income, and will require;
1. an employer reference; and
2. previous landlord reference.
We have a large kitchen-living space with a big tv and comfy sofas. The living room gets plenty of sunlight and is very warm and cosy in the winter. The flat has two bathrooms but you would have your own bathroom. Harriet and I share the upstairs bathroom.
The flat is in a great spot, with Sainsburys local just across the road, plenty of restaurants, a wine bar, pubs and hair salons. The flat is also a 30 second walk from Wandsworth Town station and an 8 minute walk to Southside shopping centre.
It’s a friendly house, working partly from home and partly in the office. We've all moved in via spare room and are looking for a lovely new person to join the flat. Ideally someone who doesn’t work from home all the time as you would be sharing the space with myself.
Harriet and I are really into our fitness and love socialising. We go out very occasionally but rarely have parties in the flat. Like to keep it peaceful, however there will be a welcoming party of course!
