Description
Hi there!
I'm currently looking for someone to move in to my room in central Wandsworth. I just have an offer accepted on a place to move in with my girlfriend so looking for someone to move in quite swiftly!
The place is a beautiful, new-build modern flat. It's a 10 minute walk from Wandsworth Town station, and the flat is situated across the road from the Southwide shopping centre, so it's a very central location in Wandsworth.
The main room is a kitchen/reception room, and the kitchen boasts a built-in cooker and microwave, electric hob and dishwasher, with plenty of cupboard space. The reception room is modern and spacious, and the boys have a big 65" TV to watch football, F1 and various films/shows. The reception room also has a balcony looking over the apartment block's garden terrace (it's very nice out there in the summer!)
The room itself is a small double. Although a little small I've managed to fit in a king size bed with two slim-line bedside tables either side, as well as two shelves and a 55" inch TV. There's also a built in wardrobe with plenty of space. The room also is very soundproof, you can barely hear any noise from outside the flat when the windows are shut. The room is also part-furnished. The room came with a double bed that I've stored elsewhere in order to put in my own bed, which I will put back when I leave. I've included pictures of the room before I moved, showing more of the space with a double bed. The landlord is extremely reasonable so I imagine he probably would be fine with putting your own bed in if you would like to do so also. I have some furniture I bought for the room, which I could potentially give away for free if you'd like!
The bathroom is very modern, and is a bath/shower. There's lots of storage behind the glass mirror for toiletries too. The bathroom is shared with only one other tenant also. Currently there's a tile missing under the sink, but this was recently removed due to some work under the sink and will be replaced shortly. The landlord is a very nice guy and is happy to fix and replace issues straight away.
In the kitchen area there is a perfect space for a desk that I've been using and that you are welcome to, which is perfect if you work from home. I was perfectly happy to work there and it separated my work from my bedroom, meaning I had everything i needed to live comfortably!
The tenancy runs out in November 2026, but we can have a name change at any time, so you will officially be on the tenancy yourself, and can leave at any time as long as you have someone to fill the room.
The whole flat is a 4-bed, and will be shared with 3 other guys (29, 30 and 32). The boys are very relaxed and chilled. Happy to go for a beer, but also equally happy to go out to the pub for a beer or to watch football or a movie on the big screen. They're also equally happy to just chill in their own rooms too.
Rent: £975pcm
Security deposit: £1153.75.
Wandsworth council tax band: F
I'm happy to move out whenever, so whenever suits you if you're looking to move. The boys will probably like to meet you during a house viewing to see if you gel with them.
Please let me know if you have any more questions regarding the flat/room, or if you would like to see more photos. Thank you!
