Large Ensuite Room in Wandsworth

Hi, we are looking for a 4th housemate to take over our spare room from 23rd Feb and renew for the new year in April. Latest tenancy start date will need to be March 1st.

The Room:
The room is a loft conversation so has a floor to itself, with big windows and lots of space. It comes furnished with a bed and chest of drawers, and also has a built in wardrobe, plenty of storage space in the eaves and access to the airing cupboard. The ensuite is a generous size with its own shower, all in good condition.

Shared spaces:
We have a lot of communal space downstairs, with a big living room, kitchen/dining room, and an additional living area which leads to the patio. There’s loads of extra storage in this room too, and space to set up an extra desk to wfh if our hybrid days are the same (we can alternate if not). We have both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. We have a cleaning rota and like to keep everything tidy to respect each other’s space. Parking permits can be purchased from the council.

Cost:
- Rent will be £1040 in March and go up to £1100 with the price increase for our new contract in April. It will be tenancy takeover before that, then you’ll sign on with us until April 2027.
- Bills are approx £121 p/m in winter but may become cheaper in summer. This includes a monthly cleaner for the communal areas and bathrooms.
- Deposit is £933.
- We are with a letting agency who do reference checks so a full time job is required.

Location:
We are a 10 minute walk from Wandsworth Town overground and a 15 minute walk from East Putney tube (District line), with great bus links nearby too. The house is on a quiet road within 5 minutes walk of the river and Wandsworth park, and is zone 2.

About Us:
We are 25, 29 and 31, working in finance, film and speech therapy, 2 of us hybrid wfh. We met through the house last year and have become friends, whilst we like our own space and respect each other’s privacy we are very social too. We love to do movie and wine nights, pub quizzes and dinners together, as well as the occasional boogie. There’s heaps around Wandsworth so it’s a great place for it. We’d like to find someone who wants to make it a home with us too 🫶🏼
