Double room with own bathroom Balham

Spacious double bedroom (with your own bathroom) in a recently renovated flat, right next to Wandsworth Common.

The room has plenty of space for a large double bed, desk, and any wardrobes/dressers/storage units. You also have your own tiled bathroom. The room itself is part-furnished but I have furnished the other rooms in the flat (also happy for you to add to the vibe). There is a shared open plan kitchen/living room with sliding doors opening onto a large roof terrace, which is amazing in the summer!

Transport links:
- < 100m to Wandsworth Common station, which gets you into Victoria in 12 minutes.
- 10 minute walk to Balham (Northern line).
- Lots of bus routes nearby.

Council tax/water/energy are roughly £120 per person a month (cheap Wandsworth council tax!). There’s also a bi-weekly cleaner that’s roughly £36 a month each.

About me:
You’ll be sharing with me, Jess, a 28yo who works in finance and in the office 3-4 days a week. Outside of work I play a lot of tennis and have recently started playing padel. I also like trying new restaurants and wine bars!

Ideally I’d like to live with another woman of a similar age and working pattern, who I can get on well with around the house. I’ve lived in London for a few years so have my own social circles but also keen to live with someone who enjoys a chat over a glass of wine/cuppa.

There are six flats within the house, everyone is mid 20s to early 30s and really lovely. Every now and then we do a pub quiz as a house or have wine nights!

Move in date is flexible but I’m aiming for late November / early December.

I’m planning on doing most of the viewings on Sunday 9th Nov (if this doesn’t work, please do reach out anyway and we can arrange another date). Please note, some of the photos are from when I first moved in, it’s much more furnished now!
