Double room with own bathroom Balham

I’m moving north of the river and looking for someone to take over my contract. You’ll have a spacious double bedroom (with your own bathroom) in a high spec, recently renovated flat, that’s right next to Wandsworth Common.

The room has plenty of space for a large double bed, desk, and any wardrobes/dressers/storage units. You also have your own tiled bathroom. The room itself is part-furnished but the other rooms in the flat are all furnished (also happy for you to add to the vibe). There is a shared open plan kitchen/living room with sliding doors opening onto a large roof terrace, which is amazing in the summer! There is also a free locked cage storage for bikes.

Transport links:
- 2 mins to Wandsworth Common station, which gets you into Victoria in 12 minutes.
- 10 mins to Balham (Northern line).

All bills (including a bi-weekly cleaner) come to roughly £150 a month.

You’ll be sharing with Jess, a 28yo who works in finance and in the office 3-4 days a week. Outside of work she plays a lot of tennis and has recently started playing padel. She also likes trying new restaurants and wine bars!

Ideally she’d like to live with another woman of a similar age and working pattern, who she can get on well with around the house. She has lived in London for a few years so has her own social circles but also keen to live with someone who enjoys a chat over a glass of wine/cuppa.

There are six flats within the house, everyone is mid 20s to early 30s and really lovely. Every now and then they do a pub quiz as a house or have wine nights!

Move in date is flexible but I’m aiming to move out late November / early December.

We’re planning on doing most of the viewings on Saturday 15th/Mon 17th Nov (if this doesn’t work, please do reach out anyway and we can arrange another date). Please note, some of the photos are from when I first moved in, it’s much more furnished now!
