Description
Hello! I’m moving in with my fiancé which I’m looking for someone to take over my room. We have a two bed house in Wandsworth Town, about 4 minutes walk from the station and 12 minutes to Clapham Junction. The location honestly just can't be beat, we're very close to the rail links, a bunch of lovely bars and shops, and right next to the river, so it's just such a nice area to walk/run.
The house is a two up, two down victorian house, with a garden. We have a firepit and bbq. The house has an open plan kitchen/living room which is great for hosting. One bathroom, with a bath/shower. We've also got a lot of storage at the house as there's a big attic/plenty of cupboards, so if you're sporty/have a lot of equipment/stuff, it's a good place for that! We have Netflix and Prime for the TV. The room comes with two large wardrobe and a bed. Unfortunately the table and drawer are not included, but happy to sell the table if needed. Current contract until December, likely able to extend it.
You’ll be living with Amber, who lives here since 2021 and honestly a lovely person to live with. We have the nicest neighbors on either side, we cat sit for one of them sometimes (Cat's name is Romeo and he is very charming) and the area is in a bit of a tucked away street so it's pretty quiet as London goes!
It's a snug living situation, so we’re really hoping to find someone that is a good fit. We've had some really great memories in this house and I'd love to continue that vibe going forwards. The house/garden is great for dinner parties, bbq's, games nights etc. Ideally we love someone fun, who wants to join in with stuff, is sociable and friendly, but also values a quiet and respectful living environment.
A little about Amber: I’m 26 and work in consulting for a software company. I've been in London for about 2 years, and I love it here. Big fan of cooking (love throwing dinner parties, bonus points if there's a theme). Hobbies include running, writing, art, travel and swimming. I particularly love exploring parts of London I haven't been to before, seems like there's a never ending list of things to do here!
Bills come to about £160 a month, and apparently, we legally have to tell you that the council tax band is E (would love to know if this influences your decision). Please get in touch if you think this is for you and send us a bit about yourself!
