Description
Hi All,
I’m Laura, and I’m looking for a lovely new flatmate to join our charming 3-bedroom flat in Wandsworth Town. The flat boasts a large, warm, and light-filled living room with the world's comfiest couch, a dining table, and a great TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kettle, microwave, toaster, and washing machine. We have a separate toilet and bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Additionally, there's a large shared garden that’s bathed in sunshine all day.
We’re in a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to Wandsworth Town station and a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride to Clapham Junction. Southside Shopping Centre, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and several gyms are all nearby. Our flat is also close to fantastic pubs like The Ship and Queen Adelaide, and we’re within walking distance to Wandsworth Park and Wandsworth Common. A lovely river stroll will get you to Battersea Park, and we have numerous bus stops right at our doorstep.
The room currently available is a large double room that benefits from lots of sunlight. It comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, nightstand, and a mirror, with plenty of space for additional furniture like a desk or bookcase.
A bit about me: I’m Laura, a 32-year-old social worker from Colombia. I love movies, visiting museums and exciting exhibitions, hiking when the weather allows it, and dancing Salsa. I enjoy catching up with friends, going to the gym, and travel. At home, I value a clean and tidy space and enjoy socialising over dinner, or a Netflix night.
I’m looking for a flatmate preferably in their late 20s or early 30s who would like to treat the house as a home, enjoy socialising within the apartment and out and about, and be happy to pitch in with keeping the place clean and tidy.
The rent is £673 per month, with additional bills ranging from £110 to £130 per month, covering gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, and other utilities. The deposit is equivalent to one month's rent. Our landlord requires a work contract and a reference from your previous landlord or letting agency.
The move-in date is flexible within the first week of September (3-6).
If this sounds like your new home, please send me a message with some info about yourself, and we can arrange a viewing.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Laura
ps. Wandsworth Council Tax Band C - currently £854 per year (total for the flat).
