£850 pcm, including bills
We are looking for a professional flatmate for our comfortable and convenient flat in Wandsworth Town. The room will be available from June 20th, but we are flexible on the move-in date for the right person.
Located on the second floor of a secure, quiet building, the bedroom is fully furnished with a very comfortable king-sized bed, large double wardrobe (with built in drawers on one side), small desk, and desk chair. The bedroom is on the quieter side of the building and gets the morning sun, but the room has blackout roman blinds and the added bonus of a ceiling fan to keep the room cool all summer.
There’s a comfortable living room with a sofa and dining table, with a nice, elevated outlook and evening sun. We have a large TV with Sky, and we have an extra Sky puck that can be used in the bedroom if desired. The flat has a separate toilet room from the bathroom, making sharing much easier. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a large fridge/freezer, gas hob/oven and an air fryer. We also have central London fibre broadband.
The flat is located a short walk to the restaurants and cafés on Old York Road, and only a 5-minute walk to Wandsworth Town Station, with direct and quick services into central London (Clapham Junction, Vauxhall, and Waterloo). There’s a bus stop nearby, with frequent buses to Clapham Junction (also a 20 min walk), Victoria, and Clapham Common. Also only a 5-minute walk from the flat, there is a large Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and Lidl, and Southside Shopping Centre. There are loads of different gyms nearby, lots of great pubs, Sambrooks Brewery, and a popular walking/running/cycling riverside path only a few minutes away. Wandsworth Common and Wandsworth Park are each about a 10 minute walk from the flat. Bike shed available in the development.
We’re a friendly, married gay couple (30s/40s). Andrew works in international affairs and Cal works in international communications. Cal works from home 3-4 days/week, and Andrew is office-based. We both are active, sociable, like to travel, and cook dinner together most evenings.
We are looking for a professional flatmate, who is friendly, sociable, tidy, and respectful.
Rent is £850 a month and includes all bills. Rent will include a regular cleaning service that we will arrange. We are looking for an initial lease term of 4 months, but would consider shorter stays. Deposit would be £850, with rent paid in advance, paid monthly.
