Room available from 23rd September in a great house near Wandsworth’s town station! Open to short term let or long term Only a 5 min walk to the station direct to Waterloo, also well serviced by buses.

Money bits
Rent is £1000 per month and the bills are about £100 per month including Wifi, gas & electricity, water, and council tax.

The house:
Lovely 4 bedroom house on a residential street. We have a great living area, with a big kitchen and all appliances, large sitting room with sofas, TV, and dinning table, a small patio for sun bathing (and my dying herb garden), and a good sized bathroom shared with 2 other people. We have all the streaming services too. There is on street parking, but would need to pay for the permit from the council but can always park.

The room:
It’s not the biggest room in the world but it does the job. Comes partially furnished with double bed frame, mattress, and chest of drawers. Has under bed storage and also extra storage around the house if needed. It is not big enough to include a desk but could suit someone who works hybrid and can work from the dining table when wfh.

Nearby
We have 2 pubs at the bottom of the road. The virgin active gym is 5 mins walk away. We all do our shopping at south side shopping centre- it’s about a 15min walk and has a big Sainsbury’s, lidls, and Waitrose as well as a cinema and some good shops. Clapham junction is also a 15 mins walk away.

The people:
I am going on sabbatical for 10 weeks but will be back in November. I work in pharmaceutical consulting and work mostly at home so always here to receive packages!
Taya is a hairdresser from Australia and is always down TV sesh, a drink, and a gossip.
Lizzie works in the civil service and loves reality TV.
Connor (moving out at the end of November, I am taking his room) is also a civil servant and is the first one to suggest a pub trip and last to leave.

We are a super friendly house and like to watch TV together, chat, and have a drink in the garden but everyone has their own lives as well. Looking for someone to join us who is sociable, likes a chat, and living in the best house share in Wandsworth!
