Seeking a mid-week lodger for the spare double room in my two bedroom flat.
I’m ideally seeking someone who has recently moved out of London/has a hybrid job, but needs a place to stay for a few nights a week whilst in the office. A professional in their twenties/thirties would be ideal. I can be flexible with requirements and rent depending upon the number of nights per week required.
The Flat:
The flat is a very smart 2 bedroom flat which was fully refurbished in 2021. It is on the first floor in a secure gated development which benefits from car parking and communal lawns.
The bedroom available is a good sized double with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and loads of under bed storage. The room is bright, in great condition, and is quiet overlooking the car park.
The flat also has a large living room (complete with smart tv, comfy sofa and dining table), newly fitted bathroom (bath and overhead shower) and a modern kitchen complete with new appliances (oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine/tumble drier). The whole flat is really bright and airy, and very homely.
Location:
Wandsworth Town train station (trains to Waterloo in approx 14 minutes) and East Putney tube station (district line) are approximately a 10 minute walk away, whilst buses into Central London and Westfield are less than a 2 minute walk away. The river, Wandsworth Park and Southside shopping centre are very convenient, being about five minutes away.
Flatmate:
I have lived in the same development for a number of years and love it. For ten years, I have always had a flatmate, however as I have got older, I am now appreciating my own space and would now prefer a part time lodger.
I am a social and friendly 31 year old professional who works in the city (working from home on fridays and occasional another midweek day). I am tidy and organised, and I am keen to find a like minded lodger.
