Bright en-suite loft room - leafy Wanstead village

The room and living space:

A lovely, peaceful, bright and airy double en suite loft room with privacy and views of Christchurch Green. The house is a beautiful 4 bed mid terrace with access to a garden and a spacious open-plan shared kitchen and living area and a separate living room.

The area:

Wanstead is a real gem of an area, with a sense of community and a variety of independent cafes and restaurants moments from the house just on the other side of the green. It also benefits from access to lots of green space (Wanstead Park, the flats, Hollow ponds and Epping Forest) whilst Walthamstow and Hackney are also within easy reach.

Me:

I’m easy going, friendly and sociable and generally value a peaceful environment. It would be nice to share the living space with someone who shares similar interests but it’s also always good to learn from people who have different pastimes. I do enjoy periods of independent travel (sometimes working from abroad for extended periods) and I’m looking for someone that is relaxed and friendly and respectful of the property and its contents and willing to also help look after the property and my house plants! I’m currently working from home most days and have a separate study room which is available for use when I’m not working from home.

What’s included:

The room comes furnished with double bed, wardrobe space and bedside tables but also has some room for the lodger’s own belongings e. g. desk. WiFi and other bills such as council tax and utilities are included and would be open to discussion on sharing costs for a cleaner.
