Description
-Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, toilet and sink).
-Three storey townhouse - this room is on the middle floor (other bedrooms upstairs with their own bathroom) so has lots of privacy.
-Highly sought after housing estate next to St Katherine's Dock, overlooking the canal in Wapping.
-Very close to lots of transport links ie Wapping overground, Tower Hill, Aldgate and Aldgate East all around 10min walk away. The City is just a stones throw, and Shoreditch around 20min walk (very useful after a night out!).
-We have a shared living room plus an open kitchen/dining room which we use more than the living room.
-There is a garden overlooking the canal, with seating and a BBQ.
-We have parking available (my flat mates don't own a car - permits are around £35 for 6 months I think) PLUS a garage for extra storage.
-My two flatmates are both young professional males. They're in their 30s - one works in investment banking and runs a street art agency (very cool) that gets contracted to do a lot of the 'good' art in Shoreditch and elsewhere. They're both very easygoing guys, laid back and have active social lives so aren't actually in the house that much. Particularly in the evenings and weekends. This house would suit a similar type of person (male or female) who has a relaxed attitude - our house is always relatively tidy ie we try to clean up after ourselves but definitely not OCD and this house would not suit that type of character....!
-I'm looking to move in with my boyfriend who has a place already so I don't have a set 'date' I have to leave but the we pay our bills on the 28th of every month so the landlord needs it to be on this day.
-In terms of contracts, we have a two month break clause which can be administered from the end of August (as a house). Other than that, if you want to leave you basically find someone replace you.
-The rental fee is £830 which does not include bills. I estimate this to be an additional £100 a month including council tax, water, electricity and broadband. We sometimes get a cleaner every once in a while but this can be negotiated as a house.
-We all pay £830pcm each so there is no room for negotiation over the rental fee. This room has the en suite and is the most private so it's quite a good deal...!
-No couples, although having boyfriend/girlfriends over etc a few times a week is absolutely fine.
-The double wardrobe and set of drawers are mine (only the bed is in the room) but I'm happy to leave these - can talk about £ in person.
-Any questions do ask!
