Description

Hi! As my current flatmates are leaving for home, I am looking for two people to join me in a 3-bed flat in Wapping E1W for a 1-year contract from 31st August. I do not mind the gender or occupation, but being queer-friendly is a non-negotiable!

🚉 5-10 minute walk to Wapping Overground station
🚇 20 minute walk or 7 minute bus to Tower Hill station (Circle, District Line)
🚍 Bus straight to Aldgate/Aldgate East (13 mins), Liverpool St (15 mins), Moorgate (19 mins), and St. Paul's (22 mins)
🛒 Waitrose and Sainsbury's are each 10 minutes walking distance from the flat, and there is a cornershop both downstairs and beside the Sainsbury's!
🏃‍➡️ John Orwell Sports Centre is a 3-minute walk away, Fitness First is right next to the Waitrose, and Buzz Gym is 20 minutes by bus.

Room 1 (photo 3) - NOW LET
Room 2 (photo 4) - Available for £1030 pcm. Furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, storage space, desk with chest of drawers, chair, and terrace.

Tenants of both rooms would share one bathroom, but it is quite big in size (see photo 5). Amenities include a dishwasher, a washing machine/dryer, microwave, fridge, and freezer. There is a Concierge Office open Monday to Friday during the day. Allocated space in secure parking lot for one car, which is currently free. Bills are monthly between £100-150 per person.

In terms of the area, Wapping is incredibly safe, which is a huge reason why I wish to stay for another year. It is very calming, with many green and scenic spaces to have a little picnic or relax after a long day at university or work! 🌳 Across our flat is also a pier which overlooks the Thames and Tower Bridge, with a breathtaking view (see photo 7).

Every Saturday, there is also Wapping's hidden farmer's market, which has the most lively energy with its live music and amazing food stalls 🧑‍🌾

⚓️ St Katherine's Docks is on the way to Tower Hill station, which is lined with lovely restaurants and cafes too!

A little bit about me: I will be starting a Master's at UCL this year. I love to read books, watch reality TV, sitcoms, and films! I also love a good pub day or cafe date, as well as occasional clubbing. In the flat, I like to keep a healthy balance between keeping to myself and socialising. I really enjoy a communal approach, where we all respect each other's privacy but also check up on one another and chill in the living room to chat or watch TV. I would so appreciate us all taking care of the place, so that we can hopefully make some great memories here :)

If you're interested, please message me with a little bit about yourself and which room you're interested in, and we can arrange a viewing ASAP!
