Hi there! We're moving out of our stunning two bed flat in Wapping. We've loved living here the past year but unfortunately due to personal circumstances are having to end our tenancy early. This will be to take over our lease until September 2025, in which you can choose to renew after!
The flat is via Dexters but we've always had a one on one communication with our landlord who is super lovely and quick to sort any issues!
There is one double room and one single room in the flat - we personally think the flat works best for a couple, but I know the landlord is also open to two single occupants as well - the total monthly rent of £2200 was just split evenly between the two rooms for ease but could be worked out whatever way you prefer as the lease is for the whole flat, not by room. So buddy ups are totally fine :)
The deposit might be slightly more as I went based on the deposit we had during out last contract when the rent was £2100. Bills work out to be about £300/mo including council tax (band D), electricity, gas, Wifi. Water is quarterly and super cheap). Gas and Electric are both with Octopus - they were the cheapest providers when we moved in! Wifi was set up by us, so could look at changing names on that for ease too!
There's a super spacious living area, and kitchen as well as a huge patio area out the back - great for hosting BBQs with friends (we even fit a paddling pool out in the summer!). Some of the furniture pictured is ours and we could be open to selling if keen! But regardless, the whole flat is furnished and has LOTS of storage. The bathroom was also redone just last year!
Wapping is such a stunning area, we have tobacco docks straight across from the flat. Sainsburys and a big Waitrose are both walkable from the flat, and Wapping and Shadwell stations are also within about a 10 minute walk.
The area has so many great pubs on the Thames, and cute local restaurants. It's definitely become one of our favourite areas in London and are really going to miss it!
We've been told the new tenants are required to have a combined £66k annual salary but believe that's the only spec!
We're looking to hold viewings the end of November/early Dec so will be in touch to arrange if keen!
