Location:

Flat lies between Wapping and Shadwell stations (Overground and DLR). Great location in terms of transport, as journeys to most places in South and East are within 20 mins or less.

About the space:

Flat is third floor in a block of flats (unfortunately only stairs access, no lift). We share a small kitchen, large living room, small bathroom, and separate toilet.

No WFH in the living room, as this is the only shared space and being freelance we use it through out the week, often playing music, chilling there in the day.

About us:

We are Tilly and Ellie, we’re in our late twenties, and both work in the camera department in film. We have been friends since uni.

Our two friends are moving out and we are looking for two new flatmates. We didn’t all know each other initially but wanted the kind of set up where we could be mates, and we have formed a lovely friendship so looking for someone who wants a similar dynamic.

We treat the flat like a home, not a flat share, we like a friendly social energy with each other, such as cooking together and hanging out etc. This works as the flat is cosy in size, so someone who is social and likes to be around people would work best.

We are freelance, so in and out at different times a lot, with our own thing going on socially as well. We like to be able to have our friends round, but also just be respectful of each other and each other’s work schedules and spaces so we are looking for people who want a similar vibe.

We have put a lot of effort into making it a lovely place to be and always trying to add improvements. So someone who cares about that too is a plus.

We’ll be scheduling calls with people who are interested and then we would like to meet in person as well before we decide, if possible.
