Location:
Flat is close to both Wapping and Shadwell stations (Overground and DLR). Great location in terms of transport, as journeys to most places in South East/East/Central are within 20 mins or less. Wapping as a place is pretty idyllic and peaceful with a very friendly local energy about it- especially at the market on Saturdays, and a selection of great riverside pubs to choose from. The flat is a 3 min walk from both Wapping station and the river, so it’s a great spot.
About the space:
Flat is third floor in a block of flats (unfortunately only stairs access). We share a small kitchen, living room, bathroom, and separate toilet.
No WFH in the living room, as being freelance we like to enjoy our down time in there, when we have days off in the week.
About us:
We are Tilly and Ellie, we’re in our late twenties, and both work in the camera department in film, and we have been friends since uni.
Our two friends are moving out and we didn’t all know each other initially, but we have formed a lovely friendship since and so are looking for someone who wants a similar dynamic.
We treat the flat like a home, not a flat share, so we like a friendly social energy such as coming home to a chat, hanging out in the lounge, sharing dinners together sometimes etc. We are also quite busy people though too, our jobs take us all over the place, and we have our own social lives going on too.
We also like to host our friends at the flat for dinner/cocktails/games, and would want someone who’d pop in and join if they were home :) We always give a heads up though to check no one’s got an early start etc. We are generally tidy people and clean up after ourselves, and all pitch in with the cleaning. It’s a cosy in size flat so there’s not really space to leave things out.
We’ll be scheduling calls with people who are interested and then we would like to meet in person as well before we decide, if possible.
